Room are rather simple, but comfortable and good size. Service is exelent, food and wines are as well. Owners treat everyone with equal amount of attention and respect. They made us feel very welcomed! We used their half-board option and thought value for the money was great.
Sometimes you can hear train in the night. It did not bother us, but you are sensitive to that...

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel nestled in a peaceful rural area of the Loire Valley. The hotel offers great value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. The staff provided top-notch service, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The basic amenities and comfortable rooms with direct access to the beautiful garden were a highlight. Each morning, I indulged in a delicious breakfast featuring homemade preserves that added a delightful touch to my meal. The location, just across the road from the scenic Loire River, was perfect for a day or two of sightseeing in the area.
No improvements needed, everything was just right.

Charming family-run small hotel with friendly young staff and owners who tried their best at all times. Good location for touring the area. Surprisingly large room with comfortable beds for a 2* hotel - Twin beds and 2 large armchairs + tv, ample storage space, etc. Lovely dining area. Everything was very clean. The a la carte menu was limited but ok and there are several restaurants in Amboise and surrounding area for gourmandes like ourselves. There is a pretty garden which was originally an old orchard. Ideal hotel for a short stay - with reservations. See below
The hotel is situated between a busy road and the railway, but forewarned is forearmed! We had read the info and ear plugs (foam from Boots) prevented any problem and we had asked for a room on the garden side in advance. The a la carte menu is interesting for a 2* hotel but is limited and sadly rather variable. Avoid the set menu and the hotel's recommended tourist restaurant on the main tourist street of Amboise.
